Blogging on “Blog Flipping University”

Are you trying to find a fast way to make money online? If so, flipping domains or websites may be an option. Flipping domains/website is similar to house flipping. For those of you that don’t know, a domain is the internet address of a website. For instance, on this site the internet address is bloggingonblogs.com.

There are a couple ways you can make money by flipping domains or websites. First, you can think of a unique, catchy domain name, and either sell it right away or develop a site and sell it. Secondly, you can buy a pre-existing domain name or website and promote it with SEO (search engine optimization) methods and monetize it. After the website has higher page rank, more traffic, and more revenue, hopefully, you can sell it for significantly more.

If this sounds interesting, Blog Flipping University has quite a few introductory posts on domain/website flipping. Some of the articles include: How to Make $250 for Free by Flipping a Website, Work Online from Home Buying and Selling Websites, SEO for Blog Flipping, Best Themes for Flipping Blogs, and Easiest Ways to Make Money Flipping Domains. Blogging on “How to Make Money Online for Beginners Blog”

Making money online is not as simple as putting up a blog or website and plastering Adsense on it. It requires knowledge and hard work! And no matter how much I read, I still feel like I never know enough. Thankfully, there are still others out there that are willing to show beginners the ropes. Meet Grizzly Brears. He is one of these people.

Grizzly seems to have a no nosense and down-to-earth attitude. He tells it like it is, and he tells you what you actually need to know. If you’re interested in making money online, don’t skip this blog because he can save you alot of sleepless nights trying to figure it all out.

For the long-term, most seasoned bloggers recommend you buy paid hosting services rather than use free blogging platforms. The main reason behind this is that you have more control over your blog, especially in the areas of customizing and monetizing your blog. However, Grizzly has been very successful using Blogger blogs, a free blog host by Google.

Grizzly wrote an excellent, five-part tutorial series for beginners called Make Money Blogging . So far, it is the best and most complete article I have read about understanding how to create a free blog and how to optimize it. Furthermore, I don’t know whether he still does this or not since this tutorial was from 2007, but he is also willing to review blog sites and give suggestions.

Blogging on “Nichefree Blog”

If you read Make Money Online websites or blogs, niche marketing is the current trend. Consequently, over the past several years, more and more people have been jumping on the bandwagon. If you’re not familiar with the word niche, in internet marketing, a niche can be defined as a focused subset of a broader subject. For example, cars would be considered a broad subject. On the other hand, Toyotas would be considered a niche. You could narrow the niche further with Camry or Corolla.

Why all the focus on niches? As the internet continues to grow, competition among websites become stiffer and stiffer. Thus, increased competition has made it harder for the little guy with less resources to compete. However, if you can find a niche, there is usually less competition for the keywords. Less competition for the keywords can help you rank higher in the search engine results. A higher ranking in the search engine results mean more traffic to your website and hopefully, more money.

This blog has several ideas for niche topics to use. There is also a four-part tutorial on how to make a squeeze page, but I have not been able to access it on my computer.

Blogging on “The Tiny House Blog”

Tiny Log Cabin taken by Katalyst on Flickr

Tiny Log Cabin taken by Katalyst on Flickr

Have you ever daydreamed about having your own tiny house tucked away in the woods? The Tiny House Blog covers all sorts of tiny houses - yurts, straw bales, pre-fabricated, stick houses, and more. Most of these tiny houses average around 100 square foot. To envisualize this in your mind, it would be the same square footage as in a 10′x10′ room.

Some people use these tiny homes as recreational property, others are actually living in them as a primary home. Most of the people living in them as primary homes do so to avoid mortgages and become more financially independent. However, it’s no wonder with the number of mortgage foreclosures today. While I am not ready to move into a tiny home yet, I understand the popularity behind them. The older I get, the more I realize that excess material possessions just tie you down.

My favorite category in this blog is the tree house category. There is one tree house listed located in the East Kootenays of British Columbia which is absolutely fantastic. Whether you are just curious or interested in downsizing, this blog has an interesting array of tiny houses.

Blogging on “Entrepreneurs - Journey”

Blogger, Yaro Starak

Blogger, Yaro Starak

Since I started blogging, I’ve read alot of blogs on many different topics. One thing I’ve noticed over time is some bloggers hold back bits and pieces of information rather than share everything they know. This seems more noticeable in blogs teaching the tricks of blogging and how to make money online. Naturally, this is just human nature; no one wants to give all their secrets away. However, it is nice when you run across a blogger who isn’t that way. Recently, I’ve become interested in how to create and monetize microniche websites. Yaro wrote a fantastic post on that topic called How To Make Money Online Using Niche Content Sites. So far, it is the most comprehensive, introductory article I’ve read on the topic. Written in a well-organized and easy-to-understand format, you won’t have to reread his posts to figure out what he said. If you’re looking for blog with a diverse range of quality content on internet marketing, let Yaro show you the ropes!

Blogging on “Life in Alaska - A View from Homer”

Homer, Alaska

From the words of Michelle, “Alaska is a big place, and no blog could sum it all up, and a lifetime of exploring could not delve into all the nooks and crannies of this awesome state. This is my ’slice of life’ living near Homer, Alaska.

Homer, Alaska is a small town nestled against the Kachemak Bay on the Kenai Peninsula. A land where awe-striking mountains meet the water’s edge, it was nicknamed The End of the Road in a book by Tom Bodet. Live vicariously through Michelle’s experiences and beautiful pictures.
