Beginning in March 2009, I started this blog with the goal of introducing internet users to superior blogs on a wide variety of subjects. The blog is dedicated to recognizing blogs that are useful, helpful, newsworthy, or entertaining.

To introduce myself, I am Jen. I am a 40-something year old female living in rural, northwestern Minnesota. For 13 years I managed a group home for the developmentally disabled. In the spring of 2008, I quit because of chronic back pain and sleeplessness due to the pain. Thus, I started looking for a way I could work from home.

Up until September 2008, I knew nothing about blogs. At that time I started writing at Hubpages under the plume de nom of Seamist. Unfortunately, although not all, most writers including myself make little more than pocket change for the month. However, it has introduced me to the blogosphere and improved my writing.

After many nights on the internet searching for how to make money online, I decided I wanted to try niche site marketing. Since then, I have read many blogs trying to learn what I need to know.

Although not all bloggers are guilty of this, one my rants is how many bloggers write just enough to tease you with the taste of success yet they don’t share everything you need to know or worse yet, they charge you for their premium articles and tutorials. Therefore, I am drawn to blogs that are useful and helpful when it comes to making money online in addition to other blogs.

Since I’ve wasted so much time reading blogs that were not helpful, when I run across a blod I think is useful, I thought writing a blog to keep track of them for me would help you at the same time. Futhermore, I think when bloggers go the extra mile, it is important that they be acknowledged. Thus, bloggingonblogs.com was born.

Although I write the posts, this blog belongs to you, the readers. I write this blog for your enjoyment. If there are any topics I am not writing on or topics you would like to see more on, please leave a comment, and let me know.

Just for your information, I chose this wordpress theme because it has a breast cancer theme. My mom is a breast cancer survivor. In the fall of 2008, she was diagnosed with breast cancer and underwent a masectomy. Although she is widowed and lives alone, I have never seen anyone braver. I have never heard her complain even once about her loss or what she has had to go through. She is my hero!
